Spreading Joy by Baking With Love 

In July of 2020 is when I started my baking journey.  During quarantine, I started watching Kids Baking Championship to keep myself busy and it inspired me to begin baking myself.  The first thing I baked was a birthday cake for my Mom because we couldn't find one from anywhere else because of COVID.  Little did I know what would occur a few weeks later.  I started to not feel well, and discovered that I was positive for COVID.  Being sick really made me think about what I wanted to do, and what made me happy.  Baking was a definite YES on my list of "things that make me happy", however helping others was another BIG plus on my "happy list".  I began to bake more and experiment with different types of baked goods for my friends and family.  That's when I got the feedback that I should start selling what I bake.  I considered it, and started my own home baking business, Treats By Zoe, in December of 2020.  I wanted to combine my love of baking and helping others, so I also donate 50% of my proceeds to No Kid Hungry.  I have continued to expand my baking business and I hope to one day open up my very own bakery.  Despite my goals and accomplishments in life, my main goal is that when someone tastes my baked goods they can feel the use of the most important ingredient, love.
